Celebrating 25 years of Constitutional Democracy in South Africa (1994-2019)
The South African Mint offers you the chance to have your creativity immortalised as a part of the SA25 Commemorative Coin Range.
Resulting from widespread public consultations, the SA25 coin range represents a significant collaboration with young South Africans in honour of our nascent democracy.
The five R2 coins which form part of the SA25 commemorative coin range pay homage to Children’s Rights; The Right to Education; Environmental Rights; Freedom of Movement and Residence; and Freedom of Religion, Belief and Opinion. From the remaining 22 rights and freedoms in the South African Bill of Rights, we offer you this golden opportunity to choose one right or freedom to base your coin design on.
